Rimbard Manor was built in 1192 and purchased by ourselves John and Laura Henderson in 2003. The mammoth renovation project that ensued of the semi derelict manor is now complete. We are proud to offer four luxury chambre d’hote en-suite rooms in the Manor, and a fabulous Gite in the grounds. The Gite is over 200 years old. (see our renovation section)

Manoir de Rimbard is situated 5 min drive (30 min walk) from the tranquil and beautiful village of Lavausseau, the Cite de Tanneurs, which boasts one of the last remaining tanneries in France. Here the visitors centre and gift shop await your visit.
The surrounding area has much to offer, including the famous Futuroscope theme park, and the fabulous beach, harbour and shopping at La Rochelle.
Poitiers centre offers culture and shopping to delight the senses and is less than 30 mins drive.
