The Manor was built in 1192 and purchased by ourselves John and Laura Henderson in 2003.

The mammoth renovation project that ensued of the semi derelict manor is now complete. We are proud to offer four luxury chambre d’hote en-suite rooms in the Manor, and a fabulous Gite in the grounds that started its life 200 years ago as a milking parlour. The manor offers four luxury en-suite bedrooms, with separate access to the gravelled courtyard, and a private breakfast room with TV and large leather sofa.
The gite offers accommodation for up to 6 guests (4 adults and 2 children) with two large bedrooms and two bathrooms.
All rooms have satellite TV (UK and French) and free Wi Fi internet access. All guests have full use of the games room for table tennis, also the snooker/pool room.

Lavausseau centre has the Auberge de Tanneurs restaurant that is open all year round and serves traditional French cuisine, plus a traditional French bakery, pharmacy and hairdresser.
The surrounding area has much to offer, including the famous Futuroscope theme park, and the fabulous beach, harbour and shopping at La Rochelle.
Poitiers centre offers culture and shopping to delight the senses and is less than 30 mins drive.
